To maintain the highest standards of compliance, security and regulatory adherence, Sparq virtual cards cannot be used with the following merchants and service categories.

Important notice

Attempting to use your Sparq card with any of these restricted merchants may result in transaction declines, account suspension or termination. This list is subject to updates without prior notice to ensure ongoing compliance with financial regulations.

Category-wide restrictions

These entire categories are prohibited, across every merchant.

All gas stations

High risk

Petroleum products and fuel purchases at any gas station or fuel pump are not permitted.

All iGaming, casinos and betting

High risk

Online gambling, casino games, sports betting, poker sites and all forms of gaming wagering are prohibited.

Specific merchants

Individual merchants and services that are not permitted. The list applies to all four cards.
